Osor

A swinging bridge connects Osor to the island of Losinj. This channel was built in the Roman Era in order for ships to pass.

In the main square of Osor is the Church of the Assumption, this church contains a collection of paintings from the 16th and 17th centuries. Also in the town square is a sculpture that is related to music, sculpted by Ivan Mestrovic. During the summer months Osor hosts musical festivals with musicians from throughout Croatia.
