The town square includes a 15th century town hall. The Castle of Frankopans is best described as well-preserved from the 12th century. It now hosts events, such as the popular jazz festival. Other festivals also draw a crowd, mainly during the summer months. Due to the lack of hotels in the town of Krk, the main accommodations are made with private houses. Those travelers in need of a hotel will most likely seek one outside the city. Hostels can provide a bed for travelers if there is room.
