Kornić is placed near the city of Krk in a beautiful bay named Punat, from where you can see a fascinating scenic view on the Island of Košljun and a Franciscan monastery on it. This is actually a small village in which live few hundreds of inhabitants and it has an important touristic role. Its name comes from Latin word "cornu" that means crow, and that can be seen today in the sky above this place.

Nearby there is a historical St. Dunat’s church from 13th century that presents a big solar calendar, an attractive place that tourists visit in any time of a year.
