Prvić is an Island in archipelago of Šibenik, near the place called Vodice. There are only two villages on the Island: Prvić Luka on the south-east and Šepurine on the west. The Island was inhabited in early middle-ages, but most of colonists came here when they were running from Ottomans in 15th century. During the 17th century Prvić served as a resting-place for patricians and as shelter when an epidemic of plague devastated. The connection with the land is only a boat that sails few times a day.
