Selce

 

Selce is in the region of Croatia and has a Roman heritage. In the old part of town you are still able to see the architecture that has been well preserved. The narrow alley ways and courtyards are still enclosed by towering walls. Selce is a small village that has spendid pebble beaches, boat piers and a seaside promenade. The main economy is ran by fishing, farming, olive gardens and tourism. This is a wonderful place to visit and has plenty of accommodations that were built in the early part of the 20th century to please the growing number of tourists that were flocking to the area.

The natural springs are an attraction that brings many to this small fishing village. You may also play tennis, miniature golf or participate in any number of water sports. There are also a number of fishermans festivals that take place in July and August. There is also a "Fishing with the Guests" party that takes place in August. This is a stunning place to visit on your vacation, and is pleasing any time of year. There are plenty of things to keep you busy, but quiet places for you to relax.
